THANKSGIVING COMPLETE MEAL  |

The Coalition of Powhatan Churches will be sponsoring " Thanksgiving
Complete Meal" in order that no family will go without a wonderful thanksgiving meal this year. We are asking individuals, churches, small groups, civic organizations, businesses, and schools to partner with us in this worthwhile endeavor. There are several ways in which you can help: 1. Prepare the bags of items for the meal. Deliver these to the Ruby Leonard Food Pantry at 2480 Academy Road (Bethesda Church of God property across from Blessed Sacrament/Huguenot Academy) These are the items you should put in each bag (double bag please): 1 - 30 oz. can of yams or sweet potatoes 1 - 13 oz. box of mashed potatoes 1 - 16 oz. can of cranberry sauce 2 - 15 oz. cans of corn 2 - 15 oz. cans of green vegetables 2 - 10 oz. cans of gravy 2 - 16 oz. pkgs of stuffing mix 2 - box of hot chocolate mix 1 - small box or jar of ice tea mix or tea bags 1 - complete family desert item 2. You can assist with the purchase of gift certificates. We hope to give each family a $20 food certificate for the purchase of a turkey or other food items. 3. Raise funds to purchase the food items or gift certificates and mail to: Coalition of Powhatan Churches, 3620 Goodwyn Road, Powhatan, Va. 23139, by NOVEMBER 10th. 4. Collect any of the food items and deliver them to the Ruby Leonard Food Pantry, 2480 Academy Road, Powhatan, Va by November 10th. |

REMEMBER, THIS PROJECT IS TOTALLY DEPENDENT OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE NEED 200 MEALS AS WE SERVE APPROXIMATELY 300 PEOPLE A MONTH THROUGH THE RUBY LEONARD FOOD PANTRY. PLEASE, LET'S NOT FAIL! |
